Gold filled jewelry is comprised of two layers that are mechanically bonded to each other: gold (5%) and jeweler’s brass (95%). It has almost 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. Since gold filled jewelry is mechanically bonded onto the base metal, rather than plated, the gold doesn’t rub off.
Gold filled jewelry is the next best option to solid gold at a fraction of the price. It’s perfect for everyday wear! You can go to the gym, shower, and sleep in it. It’s also hypoallergenic, so it’s great for people who have sensitive skin. Read more about the different types of gold jewelry to see why gold filled is our material of choice.
To summarize, here are the benefits of gold filled jewelry:
- Tarnish resistant - Waterproof - Safe for sensitive skin - More affordable than solid gold
I recently got my ears pierced for the first time, and I was on the lookout for good quality + affordable earrings. I love the name simple & dainty that’s exactly my style and I love everything they put out. I got the pearl stud earrings, and the mini huggie hoop ones. They are beautiful and I love that they’re hypoallergenic. I will come back for more!
So happy that you found us, Ilona! Thank you for the support, and I'm excited to make more pieces for you soon. Enjoy! :)

Daughter loved them, perfect small as described.
Yay! So happy to hear your daughter loves her new earrings. Thank you so much, Desiree!
Love my studs <3
I had ordered a couple earrings for my birthday and they were soooo amazing that when the holidays came along I just KNEW that I would be getting studs for a couple of people (that are the hardest to shop for). While I was there... I got a little something for myself. I went with the pearl studs. They are perfect for stacking and for wearing alone. Awesome quality. I shower with them (tho I don't think I'm supposed to) sleep with them, sweat in them, and they are like brand new.
So happy you love your new Pearl Stud Earrings, Massiel! Thank you so much...enjoy!

Jewelry Sizing Guide
To get the best fit, we recommend measuring your neck to where you want the necklace to fall. You can use a sewing tape measurer to achieve this. If you do not have one, you can use a common household item, such as headphones, charging wires, or a piece of string/yarn - then measuring that household item with a ruler.
You can use this chart to help guide you, but everyone has different sized necks, so please use this knowing that it might not be accurate for you.
Sizing according to the chart:
12-14": Choker size
14": Falls right at the base of the neck.
16": Hits around the collar bone.
18": Most popular length for pendants.
20": Falls right above the cleavage.
