Gold filled jewelry is comprised of two layers that are mechanically bonded to each other: gold (5%) and jeweler’s brass (95%). It has almost 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. Since gold filled jewelry is mechanically bonded onto the base metal, rather than plated, the gold doesn’t rub off.
Gold filled jewelry is the next best option to solid gold at a fraction of the price. It’s perfect for everyday wear! You can go to the gym, shower, and sleep in it. It’s also hypoallergenic, so it’s great for people who have sensitive skin. Read more about the different types of gold jewelry to see why gold filled is our material of choice.
To summarize, here are the benefits of gold filled jewelry:
- Tarnish resistant - Waterproof - Safe for sensitive skin - More affordable than solid gold

Baroque Pearl Hoop Earrings
I absolutely love these. They felt special on my wedding day, and paired beautifully with the Baroque Pearl Necklace. But they're also small and dainty enough to be worn as daily earrings, which I wasn't expecting. I haven't taken them off since the wedding!
Salena (Los Angeles, US)
I’ve gotten so many compliments ever since I switched to these earrings. Some of my patients even think this is real solid gold. I haven’t taken them off for a few weeks now and there’s been no tarnishing at all. I hate taking off jewelry to shower so I am so thankful for these earrings. I am super impressed!
Yayyy! Love your earring stack, looks so great on you! Thank you so much, Salena. Hope to see you back soon. :)
Tejal (West Orange, US)

Awww, thank you so much Tejal! Love hearing how versatile these earrings have been to you. I appreciate you supporting my small business! :)

To get the best fit, we recommend measuring your neck to where you want the necklace to fall. You can use a sewing tape measurer to achieve this. If you do not have one, you can use a common household item, such as headphones, charging wires, or a piece of string/yarn - then measuring that household item with a ruler.
You can use this chart to help guide you, but everyone has different sized necks, so please use this knowing that it might not be accurate for you.
Sizing according to the chart:
12-14": Choker size
14": Falls right at the base of the neck.
16": Hits around the collar bone.
18": Most popular length for pendants.
20": Falls right above the cleavage.
