Jewelry Sizing Guide

Necklaces

To get the best fit, we recommend measuring your neck to where you want the necklace to fall. You can use a sewing tape measurer to achieve this. If you do not have one, you can use a common household item, such as headphones, charging wires, or a piece of string/yarn - then measuring that household item with a ruler. 

You can use this chart to help guide you, but everyone has different sized necks, so please use this knowing that it might not be accurate for you. 

Sizing according to the chart:

  • 12-14": Choker size
  • 14": Falls right at the base of the neck.
  • 16": Hits around the collar bone.
  • 18": Most popular length for pendants.
  • 20": Falls right above the cleavage.

Our Materials

Gold Filled

Gold filled is made of two layers that are mechanically bonded to each other: gold (5%) and jeweler’s brass (95%). Since gold filled is mechanically bonded onto the base metal instead of plated, the gold doesn’t rub off, and it has 100x more gold than gold plated.

Gold filled is tarnish resistant and perfect for everyday wear; you can go to the gym, shower, and sleep in it. It’s also hypoallergenic, so it’s great for people who have sensitive skin.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. 

Sterling silver is perfect for everyday wear; you can go to the gym, shower, and sleep in it. It’s also hypoallergenic, so it’s great for people who have sensitive skin. Sterling silver can tarnish if it's left out to oxidize with air, so we recommend storing it in a sealed zip bag if you are not wearing it. Getting it wet and wearing it often actually helps prevent it from tarnishing.

Beautiful classic timeless PERFECTION!

Everything I want in a cross to remind me of my faith in Jesus and with the most “me” feeling flare touch to it with the beautiful sparkles. The silver chain itself is also so bright and shiny. I wish I could add pics of the necklace on me but it wont give me the option for some reason but just know it is exactly accurate to the photo and SO perfect for daily wear. I never wanna take it off. So happy this can last all my lifetime with the proper care. Would adore if S&D made a matching type version of this cross but in earrings/anklet form! Love so much can’t wait to order more S&D!
